Hedge trimming can keep your hedges looking sharp. We have the expertise and tools to trim your hedges to the right length. We trim all sides of hedges up to about 15 feet in height. Our ladders do not reach higher than that type of work. In some cases we will rent equipment to do it. We typically sharpen our trimmers once a year to give it the best possible cut. We then rake up the clippings and bag them for curbside pickup. A common request is to trim hedges as deep as possible. One of the dangers of cutting them too deep is exposing the branches and dead areas. We recommend hedge trimming once a year for best results. We base our estimates on how high the hedges are and the length of time it will take to trim them. One other factor in the costing is the number of obstacles in the way, such as trees, sheds, wood piles and so on. Some clients like a straight edge on top of their hedges while others prefer a slightly tapered look to them. The tapered look helps with snow falling off and less crusing by the weight of ice build up.
